My name is Melinda Conley. I have been working with children for more than 22 years. I have always had a passion for children and American Sign Language (ASL). I have worked with special education infants and children and regular education too. I love the doors of communication that ASL opens for infants and children. I was introduced to Signing Time in 2001 and later to Baby Signing Time in 2004. Becoming a Master Signing Time Instructor with Signing Time Academy was a perfect blend of my two passions. I also know the benefits of signing with infants and children first hand. I am a homeschooling Mom of 8. Yes I said 8! I have lived through the "terrible twos" without using sign and with using sign. Signing opens the doors of communication and reduces the child's frustration resulting in less tantrums. Hands down ASL is one of the best communication tools for infants and young children.
